Enough about me, this is about the comic, my "comix". Cam's Comix was started in '03, that's back when I was first starting out, and I wasn't up-to-date with the rules of spritestry. I was up to, I think, 28 comics when someone confronted me. I was once obsessed with a sprite comic website "drshnaps dot com". And I used many characters and backgrounds that belonged to the authors there. But, being the naïve and clueless kid, didn't know that I was suppose to ask for permission before I actually used anyone else's work.

Aware of my mistakes, I started a new version of "Cam's Comix"; the one you're reading now. I was sure to use only my own sprites, and make sure anything I used was given credit to their original owners.

Plot:

Yes, this comic has a plot, even though it may not seem like it. This comic is about six kids (Cam, Trevor, Anthony, Scott, Pyro, and Chao-breeder) that recently joined a boarding school. But this boarding school is full of wacky students, demented teachers, two people from another world, and one student who is evil reborn. There may be many story arcs going on in this comic, but, I'll try and stay on the main path.

References:

There are many references in my comic. Either it be a video game, a movie, or an inside joke not many people will get. To avoid lawsuits, spam mail, and overall bitching, lemme just say a few of the references, just so it can be all clear.

The Legend of Zelda: Being my favorite video game series, I had to reference it. Cam's hat is a red version of Link's. There is a Triforce seen in Cam's room. Cam is half Hylian; a race from LoZ.

Metal Gear Solid: Comic #15 "Box Convo", was a comic entirely tribute to MGS 3, copying almost exactly the dialog from a real conversation in the game. Syden, as seen in episode #21, wears Naked Snake's (Big Boss's) headband.

Halo: Combat Evolved: An entire 3 comic story arc (episodes #12-#14) was tributed to Halo, mainly Halo 2 (being the only one I own).

A Clockwork Orange: Mine, and a few other's single favorite movie and book. The titles for comics #18 and #28 are referances to Clockwork Orange.(♫I'ma singin' in the rain!♫)

Sonic: Chao-breeder is a character I made up in tribute to my love for Chao from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Also in episode #23 "Instinct", CB can be seen in the Hero Garden. The comic takes place on Angel Island, a a reoccurring place in many Sonic games.

Portal: AssHat's portals are coloured the same way as the ones in Portal.

Tales of Symphonia: Yes, I tributed this one also, but very slightly. The angelic wings on Lawful Apotheosis Cam in comic #27 are a tribute to the world's hardest f██king boss; Mithos Yggdrasil.

Devil May Cry: In comic #27 "Apotheosis", the lyrics in the background are from DMC4's song "Shall Never Surrender".

H.P. Lovecraft's Macabre and Horror: Pr. Cam E. Ron's goal is to summon the great priest Cthulhu, an infamous Great Old One from a few of Lovecraft's short stories.
